The AdWords AdWrapper is a time saving tool that
wraps keyword phrases in "quotation marks"
(phrase match) and [square brackets] (exact
match) for use in Google AdWords campaigns.
Keywords entered into AdWords AdWrapper and Negative
Keywords Maker are systematically changed to
lowercase, with duplicates removed, and sorted
in character code order.
If you are experienced with Google AdWords,
you know that you can change keyword matching
options to better target ads. If you're unsure,
visit the
Optimization Tips section in Google for more
information on keyword matching.
I spend a great deal of my time as an online
direct marketer compiling lists of keywords for
my AdWords campaigns. Using phrase and exact
match, you will increase your click through
ratio and lower your cost per click.
Some people may use Macros, while others may
use regular expressions, to quickly put together
keyword matching phrases. I knew there must be a
quicker way to put together the keyword matching
options for my numerous ad campaigns. So I
created the AdWords AdWrapper.
What Does the AdWords AdWrapper do?
You simply enter a list of keyword phrases
and the AdWords AdWrapper will turn it into 3 separate
lists; Phrase, Exact, and a combination of
Broad, Phrase and Exact Match.
For example:
Enter:
Google
AdWords
Google Advertising
Produces:
Broad, Phrase & Exact Match
Google
AdWords
Google Advertising
"Google AdWords"
"Google Advertising"
[Google AdWords]
[Google Advertising]
Phrase Match
"Google
AdWords"
"Google Advertising"
Exact Match
[Google
AdWords]
[Google Advertising]
You simply copy and paste the lists you want
into a text file, Excel spreadsheet, and/or
Google AdWords.
How To Use th AdWords AdWrapper
To use the AdWords AdWrapper, follow these 3 easy
steps:
Enter the
keyword list in the input box. Make
sure each keyword phrase is on a new line,
and do not contain quotation marks or square
brackets.
Click the "Wrap
It" button.
Negative Keywords Maker
Here's a new feature that was requested by a
number of users. The Negative Keywords Maker
lets you create negative keywords by inserting
the minus sign "-" in front of keywords, with
one click.
How To Use
To use the Negative Keywords Maker, follow
these 2 easy steps:
Enter the
keyword list in the input box. Make
sure each keyword phrase is on a new line.
Click the "Add
Minus Sign" button.
Notes:
If you're still waiting after 15-30
seconds, try again with a smaller list of
keywords.
The tool typically only takes about one
second to process a thousand keyword
phrases. I recommend a maximum of 1 - 2,000
lines / keyword phrases.
Please note that the AdWords AdWrapper does
NOT find keywords related to the
keywords you enter. It merely reformats the
keywords you enter.
Other factors beyond my control could
affect the speed of the tool. For example, a
slow internet connection, or if many people
are using the tool at the same time. So
please be patient.
Rest assured that your privacy is
protected. I do NOT
store any of the data entered or generated
via the use of the AdWords AdWrapper.
Please help improve the service by
reporting
any bugs found. I also welcome any interesting
ideas on improving or using this tool.
Thanks.
